The day combined several distinct pieces of Versailles: quiet getting-ready time at The Aldenberg Hotel, a small civil ceremony in town, portraits with a vintage red Mercedes and the horse-country landscape, then a long-table outdoor reception at Heartland of Versailles as daylight faded into candles, string lights and a fire pit.

Getting ready in downtown Versailles

Beth and Ryan began the day in the richly detailed interiors of The Aldenberg Hotel. Bridal jewelry, horse artwork, dark green rooms and quiet individual portraits gave the morning a strong sense of place before they left for the ceremony.

An intimate civil ceremony

Their ceremony was small and direct, centered on the vows and the people standing closest to them. Afterward, the day opened into portraits around Versailles before the evening celebration moved to Heartland.

A red Mercedes, horses and autumn light

Portraits connected the celebration to Kentucky horse country: a vintage red Mercedes, paddock fences, a horse on the property, hydrangeas and warm late-day light around the historic estate.

Long tables outdoors as the light changed

At Heartland of Versailles, long wooden tables stretched across the lawn with blue-and-white place settings, greenery and taper candles. The reception stayed outdoors into the evening, shifting from daylight to candlelight, string lights and the warmth of a fire pit.

Candles, cake and a sparkler send-off

As night settled in, the celebration became more intimate: dinner by candlelight, portraits beneath string lights, cake outside and a sparkler send-off before Ryan and Beth drove away in the red Mercedes.
