THE WEDDING DAY
A formal day with a very lively heartbeat
The wedding day begins quietly — white silk, pearl details, champagne and friends filling bright rooms — then keeps building. By the time Dom and Hayley reach the church, the celebration feels grand without becoming distant: long looks, tight hugs, tears in the pews and a kiss beneath stained glass. From there the day moves into Cincinnati streets, a vintage black car, the gilded interiors of Netherland Plaza and, finally, a ballroom full of candlelight, speeches and dancing.
GETTING READY
Champagne, white silk and the nerves before the ceremony
Hayley's morning is full of small tactile details: her dress and veil, pearl and gold accents, perfume, rings and the invitation suite, followed by champagne with the women around her. The quieter moments matter just as much — a hand fastening a detail, a face changing when the emotion hits, a long embrace before it is time to leave. Dom's side of the morning brings its own rhythm, with the groomsmen getting ready together and the energy beginning to rise.
THE CEREMONY
Stained glass, a long aisle and a room full of emotion
The church changes the scale of the day. Stone arches, carved wood, stained glass and the altar surround Dom and Hayley as they stand together at the front. Around them, family and guests move between smiles, tears and hands held close, until the ceremony releases all that tension in their kiss at the altar.
DOWNTOWN CINCINNATI
A vintage car, Cincinnati streets and the ride back to the celebration
After the ceremony, Dom and Hayley step into downtown Cincinnati before riding on in a vintage black car. The change of pace is visible: church formality gives way to movement, laughter and city streets, then the Netherland Plaza marquee and ornate entrance bring the celebration back into view.
NETHERLAND PLAZA
Dark wood, gold metalwork and an Art Deco kind of glamour
Inside Netherland Plaza, the mood turns cinematic: dark wood, brass and gold details, mirrored surfaces, geometric lines and oversized chandeliers. Dom and Hayley move through those rooms with a mix of formality and playfulness — a kiss at the mirror, a quiet pause beneath the lights and small moments of laughter before they rejoin the reception.
THE RECEPTION
White flowers, taper candles and gold in every direction
The ballroom carries the same palette into dinner. White linens and flowers sit against greenery and gold accents, taper candles line the tables, and an ornate white-and-gold monogram cake becomes one of the evening's centerpieces. A champagne tower and the room's gilded architecture add to the sense that every surface is catching light.
TOASTS & FAMILY
The room kept moving between laughter and tears
Once everyone is seated, the polished ballroom becomes much more personal. Speeches land hard enough to bring tears, then break into laughter and hugs. Dom and Hayley cut the cake, share champagne, dance with family and keep finding the people closest to them in the middle of the room. Those reactions — not the decor — are what give the reception its momentum.
THE PARTY
The formal night ended on a very un-formal dance floor
By late evening the ballroom has completely loosened up. Live music and saxophone pull people onto the floor, hands go up, friends crowd together, and the polished dinner gives way to a loud, joyful party. By the end, shoes are off and the dance floor owns the night.
