I remember this wedding as an absolute stunner. Kristi is one of those people who seems to make everything she touches feel special, and her sense of style came through in the entire day. I had already loved Peterloon for years, and photographing another wedding there only made me appreciate the estate more.

A strong point of view made the celebration feel personal.

What stood out most was the attention to detail. The reception tent was draped in soft fabric and anchored by a grand chandelier, while pearl-decorated linens added texture at the tables. None of it felt random; the design choices worked together and gave the reception its own identity while still belonging at Peterloon.

Kristi designed the cake herself.

One of my favorite details was the cake. Kristi designed it, and Lindsay from Icon Cake Cincinnati brought the idea to life. That kind of personal involvement is what made the wedding feel so distinctly theirs.

Fashion, texture and a classic getaway car.

From the bridal fashion to the classic Rolls Royce getaway car, the day had a polished, celebratory feeling without losing its personality. Peterloon's architecture and grounds gave all of those details a strong backdrop rather than competing with them.

This wedding is a good reminder that Peterloon does not need to be overworked. A clear design direction, one or two memorable statement elements and thoughtful texture can be enough to make the reception feel layered while the property still reads clearly in the photographs.
